The box art on Aoshima's Vertex Mazda RX-7 kit shows it with AVS 5 wheels, but AVS's do NOT come in the kit, instead there are ADVAN RG's. The kit is nice other than the Fujimi moment they had.

I'm pretty sure everyone knew this already. HobbyWorld states that the kit comes with RG's. The Contents picture also shows RG's.

Yes, but HLJ does not state the wheel information or show contents pic. Furthermore I don't think that Aoshima had a trust issue before, at least not with me, but now I will be alert.

Aoshima's website also state RG's are in the kit. Strange, since their box art/photos are usually accurate. This one is pretty blatant whiff.
Brian, what does the side of the box show? Usually all the add-on parts (wheels, body kits, etc) that are included in a kit are usually displayed there. More hobby shops should have the side of the box pics. Useful info there, including the paint colors needed.

The side of the box has more pics of the car with AVS wheels, below one of the pics it says ADVAN RG in english, the rest of writing is in Japanese. If you bought this kit in person it would still be difficult to determine the wheels inside were different, unless you could read Japanese. HLJ usually makes a note of such things.
