Running Rich

Any suggestions? I've replaced the cap, rotor, plugs, wires, and coil and I can still smell rich fumes from the exhaust. After I replaced these parts (2 wires were broken) my vehicle failed an emissions test even worse than before. I had it tested with a good quality code checker and there were no codes stored. Can I adjust the fuel mixture?

It's probably your oxygen sensors. They'll decide how much gas is being burnt according to how much oxygen is in the exhaust, and if they're screwed up they won't read properly, so they probably think that the motor isn't burning enough gas so it's telling the computer to feed the engine more...
That's what I would try next.

Hey, I changed my 0 sensor last weekend. The old one was so carboned up I could write my name with it. The first time a 10 minute job took me 10 minutes. Thanks!
