fuel pressure

is there a pressure relief/test port on a 1990 TBI 305. i want to test my fuel pressure but i dont see anywhere to attach the fuel pressure gauge fitting. thanks

It's tricky, but get your pressure gauge and take a T fitting and hook to small peices of hose to either end and connect them between the balance line fittings. you should get 9-13 psi...sorry I cheated, had to look it up in the manual. lol If you have a haynes manual it's section 4B-3

thanks, i tested it and i'm lookin at about 8 or 9 lbs of pressure so i think i'm going to get a new pump. i'd like it up around 14psi and let the regulator do the rest. any suggestions on what pump to use? i'm lookin at a holley universal in-line pump made specifically for fuel injection. it pumps 43gph at 15psi, costs $139.99. does this sound right?
