4g63t

sup people....need info...anyone know a price range and work involved in dropping a 4g63t in my 99 mirage 2 door? just need to know how what kind of work....suspension? or welding? whatever....thanks

a 4g63t will fit tite but it has to be a JDM evo 4+ motor to fit cuz the eclipse 4g63t is turned the wrong way. ull need new mounts(welding), ecu, tranny and for awd tranny major fabrication (cuttin and weldin most underneath of the center car) to fit a drive shaft under there, but i think it would be well worth the work and money to have an evo motor in my rage.

Use galant 2.4 & Turbo that.99 & up.

there is NO welding anything to fit the evo 4+ 4g63 into the 99 mirage, dont know where on earth you guys get your information from :nono:

ya the e4 motor will drop right in. the tranny is the only thing u need to worry about. u need a 1998 galant EA2A manual tranny from a 4g63nonturbo if u wanna keep it fwd and simple

what if you want to use the turbo version can you use the same tranny. i have a 96 and was wondering if the work would be the same. if you can still use that tranny or is there a better one?

i was told by a mitsu mechanic that E4 4g63 will fit on the 1.5 trannys. i dont know for sure though cuz i dont have they swap done.
