hi,

i'm getting one of these, but they have many models:

ES - basic model for about $50.
PRO - better looking (better features?) for $100
PRO RX - same as PRO but with 2 springs and ceramic ball $115

i don't care about the ones with in-cabinet control.

mainly, which of the 3 above have you used and would recommend? should i bother shelling out the extra $50 or so? they are really all the same general design, what makes one model better? and how is it better? finer adjustment? i really want faster spooling... does it make any difference?

like to hear what you think. thanks!

i would buy the one for 50 dollars right now, or get the turbo XS one for 35 which is probably the same thing, because if you spend 115 on a manual boost controller you may as well spend the extra 70 and get a electronic controller.

i saw it when i was looking for a manual one a long time ago, it might have been used though, but you can get electronice boost controllers for around 200 on ebay. and you could pic up a profec b I for that price new at some sites.
