Will an cat back exhust help?

according to my last post someone advised me that a nw exhaust system wont improve performance opn my v6 camaro, is that true? If so what othe rmod(s) might serve me better?

PS Dont tell me to get a v8 cus I cant afford one. Also I already have a K&N cold air intake.

a cat back will always help so long as you get the right stuff. Don't go putting V8 stuff on your V6, these thangs are tuned for spasific aplications most of the time.

i think when i put my magnaflow catback system on my v6 i felt more of a difference than after i put my SLP CAI on...I think it def. helped.

Is the magna flow better than borla?

Intake and exhaust are complimentary, so I think that you only see maximum gains w/ both. And P.S. I think Borla is the best becuase I believe you get what you pay for, but for the price Magnaflow is excellent.

Here's a question for you, when is it too much? What I mean is, most vehicles are setup to expect/anticipate a sertain amount of resistance so if one puts on a huge exhaust or shortens the length of the pipe the engine will act funny right? Well, lets say I wanted to get side exhausts on my car (like drill a hole in the side skirt ground fx for the pipe similar to some 50's cars and some mustangs OR in the front fender like ChrisTTGN [check the movie on google if you haven't seen it] ), I assume that wouldn't cause the amount of resistance that the vehicle would expect right? How bad is that for a car? How much resistance do the thirdgens expect or require? What is too big for a third gen v6 is what I'm getting at.
