I recently put an after market filter on, and got rid of the stock airbox, 3 months later today I get really rough idling, and stalling, and smells rich and it looks as though my car is a TDI from the back, but its not, really black exhaust! I took it to auto zone to dump the codes, got both oxyegen sensors bad, and also Mass air flow sensor, which I just had replaced under warrenty 6 months ago, no check engine light is on either. what should I do any Ideas!????

Not at all. If open air intake or cold air intake (CAI) is installed properly it won't hurt the car one bit.

i put a CAI on a 97 Jetta with no problems, the chk. engine light is constantly on b/c of the lack of a MAF though.
