The front passenger side wheel bearing on Le Car went bad today. Thank goodness I'm on break this week, and have time to fix - but I'm having a hard time finding a replacement.
I hate this.

I haven't taken it apart to see what the problem is yet. It just began making knocking and grinding sounds when going around corners today, and when I got outside to see what the problem was, I grabbed the tire and yanked it back forth, and got alot of play.

Hmmm, I took the wheel off, and the hub had been put on with one bolt missing, that tells me why that brake never stopped squealing, and possibly why that bearing failed prematurely - tommorow it's off to firestone to raise hell.

I've never seen that ad (if it's real) I wonder when it was issued, obviously before 1980. The caption is great! :)

I remember the wave of Renault commercials in America in the early 80's. They kept singing "Renault...the one to watch." Next thing I know, Renault wasn't pursuing the American market anymore. We're still watching.
