Ok guys back to the engine swap that I was doing before. The engine swap went pretty good. It was kinda of a pain but not too bad other then I kept busting up my knuckles.
Ok well heres the problem I am having now. Maybe any of you guys who have the 420A can help me out. Or you turbo guys might know what I am talking about.
I am having some trouble with the vacuum lines. On the intake manifold on the left hand side ( if standing in front of the car and looking at the engine) there are 3 spots to plug in what appears to be vacuum lines. 1 angles to the right,1 goes straight back,1 angles to the left...No on my 95 engine the middle opening was covered with a plug. And the two on the outside were being used. On the engine that I got out of a 99 eclipse if I try to plug that middle one up and just use the other 2 the car wont start right it idles irratically but If I unlug it it goes right away and I if I plug it back up while the car is running it remains calm. So what I am trying to figure out is where do the 3 lines get plugged in at? I noticed on my buddys 98 eclipse NA that the one that anlges out to the right seems to go straight down and plugged in down low near the firewall. But on the 95 its doesnt seem to have that same spot to plug it in...So I am stumped......
Anyone with any ideas please help. Or make some suggestions. Thanks

OK lets see... I have a 98 eclipse gs.
The one one right was to my EGR valve. Now there is just a cap on it
The one in the middle is a skinny plastic tube that connect to it.
The one one the left is a actual hose.
The left one and the center one both go down somewhere.
