Where to get Inpul body kit

I want it. How much does it usually run and where can I order it? Also, has anyone ordered it in the US and has pics? Thanks.

I'm the only person to own it here (as far as anyone or even IMPUL is concerned). I havent mounted it yet as I was trying to sell it awhile back but decided to keep it.

WOW! Kearny...that's awesome! How come you just have it lying around? 2800 is high, but i do see that it retails high on that website. Does that kit come with the spoiler? Thanks.

it doesn't come with the spoiler. Its the front bumper, rear bumper, and the side skirts :)

I noticed on the website it said that slight modification is necessary for a perfect fit. Do you know how easy/hard this impul kit fits together? And where the modification is needed?

I havent actually tried to fit it but:



1)The sideskirts will fit w/o mods.

2)The front bumper may require removing some foam or metal in front of the support bar. I dont think you will have to remove the bar from what I've observed of some pictures of our bumper setup. Also, all the mounts are in the same place as our P11's

3)The rear bumper will most likely be the same thing as the front. I have confirmed that the mounting points are the same though.

hmmm...no clue. Are you still going to sell that body kit? 2800 is a lot for me right now but maybe somtime down the road I'll definitely be interested.

Is that ur G20? Did a tree fall on that or something? How do you remove the front bumper on a 99?

I'm not sure I want to part with the kit, it may get mounted as soon as I swap my 2000 for a 2002 (soon). Afterall, I am the exclusive owner of that kit in the US.


...but having $2800 in my hand towards my turbo project would be tempting :rolleyes:

brian, keep the kit man!! i gone through a lot of trouble trying to get the kit! besides, after your intercooler goes in place, u'll want the kit :)

Luke do you have any pics of your intercooler with the bumper off?

I think I just creamed my pants. G22DET has an impul body kit and a turbo motor in his G20....OHHHH! :eek: That's some good stuff. Do you have pics of your car? I want to see it.

How is this kit so hard to get if you can get it in the US from that website?

G22DET (Luke Chen) owns Digital Racer. I got the kit through him. They are the only place that was able to get me it. They can get most anything from Japan. ;)


I'm the only one in the US who has an IMPUL kit from what IMPUL told him. :D

It will only fit a P11. Cost is $3400 US for the whole kit.

Where did he/she get that spoiler?! My G20 [not touring] didn't come with one and I'd really like the one on that white G. It's nice looking.

That wing is by Nismo.... to get one here would probably be around $1000. You can get a copy of it though through Erebuni. www.erebuni.net (the prices on the site are higher than the real price, call them if you're interested)

1000 for a wing?! Wow...why does it seem like everything for a G20 is expensive? Is it because it's practically all imported? I mean, a crazy wing for a Honda is no where near 1000....ahhhh.

I think I'm going to start a new thread asking people how much money they've invested in their G20 so far and what they've done.

Seems like for the price of all these hot body components I could make my automatic fast.

Yes the high price is partially do to the fact that its imported, but also because of the "Nismo" name, and the quality of Japanese body kits.


US bodykits are usually crappy and do not fit with out major work. They usually sell for $300 to $1000. In Japan, bodykits are made to higher standards. The lines are perfect, everything is perfect. The Impul kit sells for $2500 in Japan, but getting it here plus customs charges etc will bring the price up greatly.

This is not just for G20's, its for any car. Go to www.suprastore.com They have Japanese made Supra kits that are $8000. A US made Supra kit can be found for $800.
