01 keyless remote

ok i bought my car from a dealer and i got only one key. no remote or anything. can i program a remote by doing something in my cavi or do i have to take it to a dealer and get it programmed? and can i get an estimate on how much that would cost if i need it? thanx

you could probably buy a remote from ebay. I think you can program it yourself but im not sure

What you should do is not to try and do it your slef trust me it is verry complacid go to a delear they have all the shit needed

You can get keyless remotes off of ebay real cheap. but you can only have 4 working on the car at one time. also your dealer should only charge 40 to 50 bucks to program them...:smile:
