Need some help

Just bought a 91 vw Jetta in really nice shape except it had no brake lights hubby fixed But now the brake lights blink when u turn on the blinker. also we can't get parking light to work. we changed all the fuses and all the light bulbs Any suggestion on what the problem might be all suggestion wanted.

you might have a witing problem with in the tail light assembly it self or near there. i would recomend getting a chilten book on that year of jetta to help hunt down the problem, if you don't that kind of time you might want to seek out a vw specailist at a local repair shop for help.
