Just rebuilt engine, car won't start

This is my first crack at working on the engine. I have a 1994 4.0 liter 6 cylinder cherokee. So i had a leak and replaced a cracked head and the head gasket. The problem is, after I pieced the whole thing back together, I can't start the car. i can turn the engine but I can't keep it in idle. I believe that I did not connect something correctly on the intake manifold. I looked all over for a diagram of it and could find no answers. Would anyone be able to offer any useful advice?
