I have dropzone coilovers, APC 3-d retro tailights, 18" Motegi wheels, i took my mufflers off and i am running straight pipes but have to go to court in april about my exhaust so i am putting on a flowmaster muffler to quiet it down a little, i also have a valet remote start/car alarm, and i have an AEM cold air intake(short).I have a 12" sub and a kicker amp in my trunk. i dont think i left anything out???

What Engine is in that? The 2.2 or the 2.4? You Could get a header.

whats wrong with my mods its not riced out or anything. I dont have stickers all over it and i dont heve a huge wing like most riced out cars.

I think the thing is, if you're going to mod a car, it might aswell be a Honda or some crap like that. In my opinion, Sunfire's already look okay the way there are. If you start putting all these body kits and bigger spoilers and junk like that, then...I dunno. If you're going to mod a car take something more plain like a Civic and mod it up like crazy :)

well thats your opinion and i respect that but where i work gave me 1500 dollars for christmas and it was to a car place that does mods so i really had no choice and its still looks like a sunfire it doesnt look like some that are around here where i live. some dont look like a sunfire at all anymore.

but anyways im probably not gettin a body kit since i scrap now and i wont get a wing because they look fuckin gay.

Well The 2.4 has alot of potential. You could do a Cam Swap with an older 2.3 HO engine. Or You could go with a supercharger That GM makes

or sell the POS and get a car with some actual performance out of the box... and more potential... for less money..

GM J-body's are what I call Un-educated Consumer cars

we have one in the shop now with 53K miles.. we are doing a complete engine rebuild because the #3 connecting rod had like 1/4" of lateral play..

that is some great engineering and build quality there.. BTW, the car is owned by the sister of my boyfriends friend... who is 23, has a kid and is a very responsible driver... (read does not race the car)

i plan on doing stuff to the engine. im lokking in to getting headers for it right know but ive done all i really want to the body except get it painted a different color.but first im gonna get the engine stuff done then the paint job since it really doesnt need one.

Have you heard of a stock WRX with 50K miles needing an engine rebuild? Fine me one and I will find you 200 J-bodies.

Mine has 30K miles and I beat the hell out of it every day. Hasn't given me any problems.
