Hi, my name is I Wanna Race and I attend middle school here in Montgomery,AL. Anyways our Career Discovery teacher has given us a bonus points project. She said if we could design a new invention or just improve upon a current one we get an extra 100 as a major grade(sweetness). Well here comes the day where she assigns us what we can do if we want to. I choose cars as my choice, here's the catch I have to use already in production parts to make my better invetion. I chose to do Honda/Acura and have decided to make a powerful stock car that has the Honda reliability and the Acura power. I have taken the MDX motor, 3.5L V6 putting out 260hp and 250ft-lbs, but don't know what body to put it in to finish. I want it to be the lightest possible and still have breathing room for the engine, so can you guys recommend any cars for this project? :evillol:

Do the parts have to be currently in production? If not, I would choose a new s2000 engine with a type R tranny, and a del sol chassis. I don't think that the MDX motor would fit in many other cars.

If this was a automotive class, you might have a chance at succeeding
I chose to do Honda/Acura and have decided to make a powerful stock car that has the Honda reliability and the Acura power.
Acura is Honda, not another company
I have taken the MDX motor, 3.5L V6 putting out 260hp and 250ft-lbs,
So, are you actually going to try to find one of these used? GOODLUCK
but don't know what body to put it in to finish. I want it to be the lightest possible and still have breathing room for the engine, so can you guys recommend any cars for this project? :evillol:
Please refer to second statement, unless someone like your school auto shop is funding this, or Donald Trump, stick to something on a already availible scale.
Get a B20B, sleeved and bore it out to 2.6L, High compression pistons swain coated, custom crank and rods, sick race port head work, with super stiff springs, retarded lift/duration custom race ground cams, $5,000 in engine management, a cryo treated tranny, ITBs, race header, and drop it in a gutted 86 CRX Si.
