Electrical Problems

Hey, I have a 93 Talon ES that i just bought this past week, now i need to pass safety. The last things that need to be done are the electric mirrors need to work (common problem that can be cured?) and the windshield wipers arent working properly.
The wipers are the main problem, they dont "park" in the lowered position when they are shut off, they just stop. and there is no response to the delay control. I'm thinking there may be a relay or something really easy that'll make me look like a complete moron.

I've replaced the wiper motor only to discover the same problem with the new one.

HELP! i need to get this talon on the road.

you can't shut them off when they are down? and the electric mirrors need to work? what state do you live in? just pay a few extra dollars and get a "fixed" inspection.

I talked to transport canada this morning (i'm in manitoba), they said i dont need electric mirrors working and the wipers need to park. I can shut them off when they're at the bottom, but apparently that's not good enough. I don't want to pay a few extra bucks for a fixed inspection since the wipers are a pain to deal with.

Anybody else ideas?
