Folks, I was gonna do a cam in my car. I dont have a Chainfall or an engine stand, so i was plannin on just tearin it apart from the front end. Anyone ever done it this way before? I've taken front ends off of a grand am and an old blazer with a 400. If anyone HAS done it this way, tell me how it went. The way i see it, i wont have to pull my motor out, on the other hand, it could be a little more tedious to do it this way. Lemme know what you experts think i should do. Also, if anyone wants an Edelbrock preformer intake lemme know, i got a new one that i might just sell rather than install...

yes as a matter of fact i have, and it went pretty good, all you should have to do is pull the rad and fan and shit out and that should be it, farly easy

yup, just pull the radiator, tranny cooler and fan and you'll have plenty of room to do a cam job..it's a bitch to degree, but doable.

well in a third gen if you take the radiator, fan, and tranny cooler out along with the grill, it's pretty easy, you can just slide it through the grill and find a path. Not sure about the others though.

Yeah, it's a 3rd gen. It's stick tho, so that gets the cooler outta the way
