Ok dudes...i'm thinking about getting a 97-99 GST or GSX.I'll be modding it up...alot.Doing all the stages that are on dsmtuners.com.I can find alot more 97-99 GST's then i can GSX's.Miles aren't a big deal for me (100-120k).So going for bigger hp numbers shound a wait and get a GSX or get a GST?Whats your "IMO" prices for 97-99 GST/GSX's with 100-120k on them?I just want to know what i should get. Thanks never one!

well if ya plan on holeshotting real hard the gsx or tsi awd is the only way to go, no spin just launch :) thats what i do. i have a 95 tsi awd.
ahh prices for some reason the gsx are selling for more money than the tsi awd and they are the same car. I baught mine for 4,500 5 months ago and it is in sweet shape

There's no lack of opinions of GST vs. GSX so pick one. Check prices on www.dsmtrader.com and www.dsmtuners.com or market value at www.nadaguides.com or www.kbb.com

But don't forget that there are headlight conversions easily available for 95 and 96 gsx's, so I wouldn't be set on a 97.

Headlights aren't the only differences between the years, but yes, I agree. 95-99 are all about the same, so it would be the same to get a 95 with 100k or a 99 with 100k.

Just an idea, but if you are going to be making big hp you are definately going to be tuning which makes me think you should probably try to find a 95 considering most already come with an eprom. Now this isnt a neccessity but it will most likely save you some cash in the future.

One thing i should have said is i want a manual.I dont know if that makes it harder to find or what but i do know that i have a hard time finding a 97-99 GSX with any miles that is a manual and isn't modded for $8,000 or less. But then maybe i'm just a bad looker lol.
