97 Avenger Question

Hello.

My buddy has a problem with his Avenger.

The tranny is stuck in 2nd gear. It has codes : P0700, P0750, P0755 and P-1782(i think).
I think he told me that solenoids and Trans control system is bad.

Has anyone had this problem? If so how did it get fixed?

Yes. It is called limp mode. Mine was the TCM. Fairly expensive and has an outrageous core charge. Had a dodge lot fix it for 279 dollars. TCM stands for Trans Control Module. Replaced the trans first and reprogrammed the TCM. A waste of 1300 dollars. Try the TCM first.
