My Suburban (88,000 mile) has just developed a strange problem. As I an driving along all of the electrics will suddenly cut out. Then almost immediately come back on. Most times its long enough to stall the engine and reset the radio clock etc. But not always. This can happen as much as 5 times in two miles. I have checked the obvious battery connections and cannot find anything loose. Has any one had a similar problem or ideas on what might be wrong?
THanks

I'm having the same problem. Have you found any information yet?

Yes it turned out to be a faulty battery that would not hold charge. The explaination I was given was; as the battery heated up it eventually got to the point where it failed completely. This seemed a bit of a stretch to me, but with the new battery the problem has gone away.
Good luck
