Take one asian fetished young man. Add an EVO3 turbo powered 1st generation eagle talon. Now kill some lifters and smash some valves in his car. Create a leak in the rack and pinion. Make his exhaust header glow under harsh driving.
Anyway... my import went to hell and in my depression I bought a '99 z28 with 60k miles on it. (yay for compulsive buying.)
I was just looking for information on common problems I should look out for. I know on the talon it was stupid things like "at around 80k miles your BISS screw will probably pop out." "lifter knock? change your oil too often and it should go away."
Are there any typical problems like this I should keep an eye out for?
Is there a "one stop LS-1 shop" on the internet I can check out for upgrades and repairs? (with the talon www.dsmparts.com worked wonders)
I think that's it...
Thanks ^.^

ls1.com or slponline.com will probably ful-fill your needs. The only problems i've had with my (2000) SS is the very-annoying rattling, which is quite common in these cars, but you tend to ignore it after awhile. (lol @ 4G63 DSM Cars..)

hey, thanks for the tips.
yeah, this site helped me a ton with my 4g63.
and the rattling thing is a problem with all chevies, no? my friends door paneling fell off his 86 vette something like eight times. I don't believe in good chevy interiors.
but yeah... for the one weekend I've had this thing it's been pretty amazing. I'll probably get to know some of you guys in the forums now.
later...
