Clutch cylinder

ok so ive had this problem fora bout a year now
where my clutch cylinder i think it is,
well here let me explain
the cylinder that holds fluid in it and is connected to the clutch petal
and the cylinder connected to that that is bolted into the bellhousing of the transmission
for some reason one or the other just keeps breaking
i just replaced my clutch and transmission with a tranny out of a 96 with about 70k miles on it
now everything was pretty much fine
except on the way home i shifted into 3rd and
i lost pretty much all pressure in clutch petal
and all the fluid was gone
the arm on the 2nd cylinder wasnt aligned right anymore
i just barely got the car home, there was just enuff pressure to get the car to shift into second and i rode it home real easy not using petal to shift
but than i was trying to add fluid and fix it
but i couldnt get barely any pressure to build up by bleeding, and adding fluid, lots of air bubbles were coming out but once i got them out i was pumping the petal and no build up, so i tried to do it a lil faster and it started to build up but than i heard a pssssssh and all the fluid came out
and the second cylinder was fuked up agn and the arm was out of alignment with the shifter fork, i knocked the pin a few times to get it back straight and it went back in, but now i cant get ANY pressure at all in the clutch petal, nada, i added more fluid, tried to bleed out the air, but i cant get any pressure at all
and ive replaced both cylinders twice each, i dont get it
anyone know anything about this?

The cylinder that you fill with fluid is your master cylinder, the other is your slave, always. Check to make sure that you're bleeding it right, as in you have made a seal over the bleeder valve. You can't let air in there when your bleeding it. It sounds like you're doing that, or one of the hardlines that carries your brake fluid is broken somewhere. Good luck.

can u elaborate on having a seal over the bleeder valve?

When you bleed your line, have a rubber attachment going over the bleeder valve nipple. then gently caress the nipple until firm. there has to be a seal around the bleeder or air can get into there...i use a fluid evacuator. it's just a pump that has a plastic line going into it, and it has a rubber grommet at the end of it that makes a seal over whatever i'm evacuating.
