Gas gauge

I have a 95 Honda Accord and the gas gauge is not accurate! I bought this car this year and it has never worked properly. The low fuel light will come on, however. Any suggestions?

If you look at some other posts on these forums, you'll find the answer... however, it's probably the "fuel sender" the little attachment that sends the gas gauge the proper level it should be at. My 99 Accord had a similar problem but I tweaked with the sender and got it to work. Your best option is to probably replace it. I know it's not too hard on my generation, there's a little access hatch just behind the spare tire that you can get to the fuel pump assembly with. You can also buy the sender itself online, and spend about $60 for the whole thing rather than letting the dealership sock you $250 in labor and fees.

P.S., here was my desperate plea for help with the same problem, and the excellent members who helped me.
