A few races

A couple of my friends and me decided out of boredom tonite to race, since we had never raced each other before.
My friend Tyler: 1989 Honda Accord LX
My friend Chris: 2000 Ford Ranger
And me, Jason: 1988 Honda Prelude 2.0SI
First race: Me vs. Tyler
We lined up on the street, Chris was the flagperson. Tyler jumped out to an early lead, and I tried desperately to catch up. I didn't. He beat me probably by around 5 car lengths. It might sound like an excuse, but Chris was standing way too close and I didn't even see him drop the flag because my rear-view mirror was in the way. So I asked for a rematch.
Second race: Me vs. Tyler (again)
We lined up once again, with Chris still as flagperson. This time he stood so we could both see him, and dropped the flag. We both took off, Tyler was about half a length ahead of me, when I started to come back. We stayed even for most of the race, but Tyler claims he beat me by about a yard. Oh well.
Third race: Me vs. Chris
Tyler was the flagperson. Chris flatout annihilated me, end of story. It was so embarassing that I don't even feel like talking about it. Good thing nobody else was around.
Fourth race: Tyler vs. Chris
I was the flagperson. At the start, Tyler was in front of Chris by a nose, but then Chris came back. The race was even most of the way, but at the end Chris was ahead by a carlength and drifted to the middle of the road, cutting Tyler off.
So I went 0-3 tonite, but it doesn't really matter. I knew my car wouldn't be too fast anyway. Maybe I'll get better results another time.

Yeah yeah....
Something I forgot to say, all our cars are stock because we're too poor and don't really care enough to put anything on them.

1993 civic EX sedan: stock, automatic
2003 civic LX coupe: stock, automatic
1971 volkswagen bug: stock, manual
it was great....it was funny to see the beater bug beat the two civics off the line lol.
