hi everyone, i was just wondering. i have an 89 chevy silverado long bed straight cab. i was wondering if there is anyway to fit a good sized set of speakers in the truck. (like a set of 10's maybe 12's) I was wondering because right now i have a pair of 6's i got free that is running off a stock radio and isnt doing crap. my girlfriend is buying me a radio and i am going to get an amp if i can find a way to make some good speakers fit. if u know how i can make them fit plz let me know it would be greatly appreciated.

I took the jack out of my 92 and had a box built for 2 12's, it sounded good but not awesome. It just depends on the type of music you listen to whether to go with 12"s or 10"s. See your local audio shop and they will do a custom box for around a $150

well actually i did find a way to do it, it's actually really easy. i didnt realize how small 10's were not across but front to back so i can take the plastic behind the seat for the jack and stuff out and make room for a set of 10's maybe 12's. dont know though yet first i have to get some money. i have another question. are sub's wider then regular speakers? or are they about the same? thanx alot
