got warm out yestarday (any answers plz)

Well as the thread says it did, and when i was driving in traffic stopping for stop lights my car started smoking it was the kind like if your car would load up idling to long. Smelled like fuel like the car running rich.
Just did it for the 1st time yestarday cuz it got warm out im thinking.
Could it be cuz my o2 sensor bad by the turbo and since i put my 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back on a month ago i didnt put the o2 sensor back in after the test pipe?

Damn!!! its a 95 tsi awd

That is interesting that you brought this up.
My car does this sometimes... well I think it does.
What does it smell like.
I did it on Friday when the temp. jumped to 60.
I dont have a cel for an o2 sensor, do you.
It cant be the rear one, that has nothing to do with this, but it can be the front o2 that had a lot to do with a/f ratios.

my check engine light is on due to my o2 sensor bad.
The smell is like fuel when the car is loading up, like what a 350 would do that is all beefed up. Im gonna buy the front one tomarrow or tuesday and see if it solves the prob. Like you said it just started doing it when the temp has gone up. The smoke is not blue like oil its all fuel smelling

Is the CEL due to a bad front or rear o2

actually i believe both cuz had the computer put on it and said front one bad ahh bank 1 if i remember right. And the second one since it was bad allready i didnt put it back in.
