Custom Lambo Doors

Ok, I'd like to know if anyone's got lambo doors, or even better if they have pictures of the lambo door hinges, b/c I'd like to MAKE the hinges, but I can't get my hands on an actual hinge. Plus I'm not going to spend $1,000 on a kit when I can make it myself. I've gone all over the internet and haven't found much b/c they are either shitty pics or they are pics of an actual lamborghini and they have steel tubing welded into the frame of the car, which the hinges come off of :banghead: . If there is anyone out there that is experienced in machining, that'd be great. The lambo doors are going on a 1991 300ZX. I'm open to any ideas/suggestions b/c I can basically make anything out of steel IF I had a detail (blueprint.) Thanx A LOT!

There was an HCI issue last summer (July 2003), the cover had an Orange 14.5 Silva on it and said "75 paint tips." That had an article on the install of the Decah VDC...so it also has pics of the hinge (actually termed a "Bi-Directional Pivoting Assembly"), etc. Also, there was another other magazine with an article that showed pics of install, and some sort of picture of the Decah VDC "hinge" in one form or another.
