Is it just me? :eek7:
Or are all the Cressida's in the U.S. automatic?:uhoh:
Is there any manual ones?
Is there a transmission transplant that could be done?

yes there is a maual transplant and not many came with a manual, you could always go with a tranny out of a supra and is the same thing, but a cressida is a supra with more style

It sure is. I'd rather have a Cressida than a Supra. The Supra just screams, pull me over! The Cressida is something I see shirt and tie teachers driving. Very subtle and sleeperish.
Thanks for someone actually replying. Even if it did take more than a month.

A cressida might be a nice car just for looks but if ur going to be street racing the supra calls you out because the supra is a better car for street racing mostly the cressida which is known as the chaser is made for looks but also to compete against bmw benz and other luxurious car the reason is because its twin turboed that why i would only get a cressida for looks

There were no actual production cressidas in the USM with the manual transmission, sadly enough the Camry got the manual transmission. Yes it is possible to transplant transmissions, but it wont be as easy. The 85-87's and maybe 88's bolt on to the a70 supras' 5-speed, but you need to do alot of cutting for the later models. Engines are pretty damn hard as well. Just say that you're going to be spending most of your funds into just one car heh.
