i have tried everything! i bought molded carpets a while ago, but they didn't fit as my transmission tunnel has been enlarged alot. so i went to a carpet store and bought auto/marine carpet. as i layed it, i kept getting many wrinkles over the tranny tunnel. so i had to slice the edges(at the bottom corner of the tranny tunnel), and im not satisfied with it. has anyone ever carpeted a car or truck and know what to do or how to fix this? i have enough carpet to re do it so quantity will not be a problem. any suggestions would be a great help!

Does anybody know how I can customize my 88 acura legend? I'm trying to figure out what performance parts I can add to it or any ways I could change the interior. I'm trying to take the leather seats of the back and add new ones, and also put racing seats, but I don't think they have mounts for this model. also I'm trying to figure how I can put a better looking bodykit, cause they have very, very, very few for a model that old

A lot of people say that heating the carpet with a heating gun first will soften it up and there will be less wrinkles in crevices. Also note, that molded carpets leave a little slack so you can cut it out a bit.So dont think that it will be the perfect fit.
