Well I just thought I'd drop in and tell you that the other day I took delivery of a G-tech pro performance meter. It was like christmas all over again! I've only done 4 runs so far, and here are my bests:
0-60: 7.27 seconds
1/4 mile time: 15.54 seconds
1/4 mile speed: 97.5 mph
I'll probably do some more runs once I burn most of my tank of gas off, I should see a little improvement because of the weight reduction.

Your mph is very high for your time slip. I suspect that you are burning away your shot at a 14 sec. time slip. Work on your launch.

Screw you :grinno:
BTW 2000LS1Z28, the G-tech pro tends to run 2-3 mph over the track....which is still pretty high compared to my time. Oh well, it's hard to launch well with an automatic tranny.

Yay I just improved again:
0-60: 7.05
1/4 time: 15.39
1/4 speed: 94.5

If you go to a track with that car you will know what I am talking about. For every 1 tenth of a second you shave off your 60' time, you shave 2 tenths off of your 1/4 mile. That 0-60 time is hurting you. Oh and I know about the Gtech being 2-3 mph high, but still 94 mph isn't reflective of a low 15 sec. pass. It should be in the high 14's. Go to your local track. BTW have you tried to lower the tire pressure in your front wheels? Drop them down to 22-23 psi and try again (Don't forget to fill them back up afterwards).

Oh and I know you mean 0-60 mph, not 0-60 foot. :p

lol, I know, I could foot-run a 7 second 0-60 foot time :D I'm kind of reluctant to lower the air pressure in the tires because my front tires aren't in the best of shape right now, I'll probably need new ones soon AGAIN....I will definitely try lowering the PSI in my front tires after I get new ones, thanks for the suggestion!

Go to your local track.
P.S.......problem...my "local" track is 2 1/2 to 3 hours away in the greater Fresno area :disappoin .....maybe I'll take a road trip with some buddies during the summer.
