97 sunroof clicks

Hello,

I am wondering if some of you guys have this same problem. My sun roof clicks and does not automatically go into place anymore. I have to manually use the button and push my sunroof into place when I want to use it. Does anyone know where I can get the parts to fix it or have any comments. I would really appreciate it.

I have been tollerating the same issue for a little over a year. I know there is a control module over the head of the right rear passenger. I have remove it and filed the contacts of the relay inside. It didn't make a difference and i know a new module is around $100. I would like to know the answer to this as well.

has anyone fixed this issue???

My 96 Aurora has the same issue with the sunroof clicking and not closing. I manually push it closed. I tried to remove the sunroof today but couldn't figure out how to remove it. Did you ever get an answer to this problem.

never fixed the problem but I think the drive mechanism needs replacing - to much $$ and effort IMHO
