gettin heads.......

Hey what head would be the best to use on a d16a6, just wanted to kno my options.........thanks

a d16a6 head. or a Y8 or Z6 if you wanna go with a mini me swap. There are plenty threads about that subject too....

God you scared me, at first glance I saw "Gettin head" and I was like :eek7:

i personally don't trust all the mini-me. for reliable, the best head is the a6 head on an a6 block. the sohc vtec is basically an a6 + vtec. so if you are looking for more reliable HP, i would suggest dropping a d16z6. i assume you have a SI so you can use your tranny and don't have to bother with MPFI, it's already there. if you really wanted you could use some of your a6 parts and just get an RPM activate switch...that will save you a few more $$$ on the over-all swap. all you will need is the d16z6 it's self

a6 block......best head for a d block period as stated by mista bone would be the a6/b7, and yes according to him they both outflow the sohc vtec heads.

convert to obd1, you'll be happier...
