R34 Candy Paint experiment.

It's box stock besides the paint, just thought i'dd get your opinion.

I painted it coper first. Just a 5 euro general use spraycan.
After that I gave it a coat of Duplicolor red clearcoat and a coat of Tamiya clearcoat.

It turned out pretty well and getting the candy effect even allover the car turned out easier than I can expected.
It's nice red which turns a bit tangerine under much light.

Im so glad to see a model that is real candy. So many people say "Check out my candy paint" when in fact it isnt candy. All that was done was they went out, bought a can of Candy Red. That isnt candy, candy is a technique and you did it.

That's to bad, yeah...
They kept falling out and that is what happened after glueing it in for the 4th time. :(
And it's not the first headlight I've mest up.

I got I bottle of Humbrol Clearfix yesterday, so that won't happen again. :D

I think they have green and blue to.
I think I'll try blue on silver on a MR2 (mkII) or a Supra (mkIV)

Could you snap a pic of the can? Next time im at wally world, Ill know what to look for.
