Oh this is too good. Please Pick, explain how socialism and democracy are mutually exclusive! Then explain to me how a social democracy can't possibly work, and that the majority of European nations are mistaken about their form of government.

I think democracy is a great idea, but it's not going to work when you have the majority of people either getting their news from Rupert Murdoch or Ted Turner. With privatized media, you will always have an agenda being pushed on the 6pm news.

With a nationalized media, like the BBC, or the CBC, you have a much less biased news source, although often they are not as critical of the government as they should be. Even so, when there is a scandal to do with the government, it's the major story on the nationalized media outlets.

As for Rumsfeld, he's a despicable man and I can't believe a word he says. During the months leading up to the war in Iraq, he went on television and told lie after lie. Not false intel, but lies, which became increasingly blatant as time went by. That's why the world didn't go to war with Iraq, because the US couldn't make a case for it, and just insulted the intelligence of people with Rumsfeld and his ilk.
