*ahem* I have yet another question for those with Tibs and car stereo! Since this is my first Tib and my first install with car stereo on Tibs! :biggrin:

Can someone tell me how you would wire from an amp (that is in your trunk) to your speakers in the doors? I don't want any wires showing, either!! I'm an ameutur at wiring my own car up, and I have learned a lot from the pro's, I just haven't ever learned how to wire up the door speakers. I have already replaced the 6x9's and the 6 1/2's with Audiobahn speakers. I have a Audiobahn 4 channel 400 watt amp coming to me and I already have the wires ran for the amp. I just need to hook them all up. I've already wired the rear 6x9's, but I am not sure how to run the wires to the doors without them being able to be seen. Can someone please help? Thanks!

gotcha covered dude. it is a pain though. good ole' webtech will help you through.

use this to rip all the parts out.

then i would just tap into the stock speaker wires up around the dash. just follow the wires from the door rubber wire passage thing into the cabin(as long as you're not pushing to much power to them. if you are, you can try tying the stock speaker wires to a set of good ones in the cabin, and then pull the new ones through the rubber boot thing. it will be much easier than trying to fish a new wire through) ok, anyway, i think you will need to unhook your tweeters, because to much resistance will burn out your amp quicker. the wire colors you will want to tap into are on this schematic. you can also check the color to make sure, just by looking at wires at the speaker location.

Y = yellow
B = prolly black, but could be blue(check on the speaker)
O = orange
G = green

any other questions, feel free to ask.
