you mean the RSX Type-R? Or the 2001 Integra Type-R?
Cuz the RSX Type-R isn't out in Canada (or the States) yet.

I want the 2001 Honda Integra Type R (name in Japan)

IF YOU ARE PURCHASING THE NEW MODEL YOU MIGHT WANT TO FIND OUT IF IT THE SAME TYPE R THE JAPS GET AS IN OZ IT IS INBETWEEN THE TYPE R AND THE GSI INTEGRA, WHICH IS A PIECE OF CRAP. WE STARTED IMPORTING ABOUT 1 MONTH AGO AND THERE NOT SELLING TO FAST I TELL YOU. THEY SEEM TO BE A POOR SECOND COMING OF THE PREVIOUS 1.8LITRE WEAPON. PERFORMANCE IS DOWN EVEN THOUGH THE NUMBERS BALANCE. YOU CAN EXPECT 0-60 IN 7.4SECS AND THE QUARTER INTO THE 15'S AND RUNNING PREMIUM FUEL.
TYPE R IS JUST A BADGE WE SEATS. WHY DONT YOU BYE AN ACCORD WACK TWIN TURBS ON IT AND GO GTR HUNTING. THIS IS MY NEXT PROJECT. ;)

In the US the current offerings under the Acura name plate are the RSX and RSX type S. The RSX has a 2L engine rated at 160 hp. The type S has a 2L engine rated at 200 hp. Both models have strut suspensions and the K20 engines.

The Integra was the last generation here, which had the double wish bone suspensions and B18 engines.

The Acura RSX Type S is the North American version of the Integra Type R, and is the same spec wise as the ITR we got down here in NZ and Ausie, the only differnce is the RSX has the steering wheel on the wrong side. :)

The JDM Integra Type R is also pretty much the same in terms of spec, but has the steering wheel in the right side, and 220hp instead of 200.

The good news is that extra 20hp is gained by some very minnor changes to the ITR/RSX's sold out side of Japan. Honda New Zealand is currently selling all the bits you need to get your NZDM ITR to JDM spec. (basicly cams and headers from the JDM ITR.)

The RSX Type S has a 200hp version of the K20c. It also gets differnt suspension and small detial changes inside to seperate it from the normal base RSX which only has 160hp (bucket deats, wheel, trim, steering wheel etc) (it also has bigger frount discs, 12inch vs 10inch)
It is an INTEGRA made in Left Hand drive and sold only in North America. (read USA! and possibly Canada, but im not sure if they retianed the Integra name or also got stuck with the RSX name tag)

The Integra Type R also has a 200hp version of the K20c (except in Japan where it gets differnt cams and headers and other small tweaks and has 220hp). It also has differnt suspension and small detial changes inside to seperate it from the base model VTi Integra. (bucket deats, wheel, trim, steering wheel etc) (it also has bigger frount discs, 12inch VS 10inch)
Things like wings, and seats etc will be differnt to the RSX but they are purly cosmetic changes made to suit the picky opioniated and uneducated American market)

THE RSX TYPE S IS THE INTEGRA TYPE R!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Integra Name has been dropped in America, and the Type-R name has gone with it.
Just like the Limited edition 7g Civic Si is just an American version of the Civic Type-R currently avlaible in Europe.

k, lets get something straight here.
are you looking for the Acura Integra Type-R (94-01), or the RSX Type-R (2002)? I think you are confusing many people because you keep going back and forth, or you haven't really started. In Canada it is still called the RSX, so if your looking for a new car, the Integra no longer exists. And also there is no RSX Type-R that is sold here in Canada. So lets get straight which car you are looking for first.
