ok,
Here's the scoop.I make alot of money off this engine because of the head, matter of fact,i seek out this car and motor.I drive a wrecker so its not so hard for me.Now having said this i'll tell you thbat once you change it out the car will last for a good time. The 94 i have i got for free because of the head and have been beating the tar outa it for the past 4yrs.Yes it's comon for the stock to go out but usualy it is because the water pump or thermostat went out and person kept driving it.It's a good car,fix it and replace the other two things as well you'll be a happy camper

I have a '91 LX 1.9L that I bought new. It currently has about 358,000 miles on it with the same engine and tranny. Good luck, I guess.
