Front seat problems

Does anybody or has any body had any problems with the drivers front seat? I have had an ongoing problem with trying to get the back part of the drivers seat to stay in position. I think the teeth in the postion selector or what ever the hell you call it is striped. I have been looking for some good deals on some used ones but I have'nt been successful. Finding mustang seats locally are next to impossible and if you do find them they are for 93 or older stangs. Will those fit in a 94?

Pre 93 seats should fit, or brackets I think is what you really mean. Also look at older Escorts, I believe their brackets are just about the same and might work when bolted up to your seat.

I would not get pre-93 seats just because the problem you have is 10 times worse in a pre-93 car's seats. Actually a lot of pre-93 guys switch to 94+ seats cause they are more comfortable, don't break as much, and look better IMO. I would maybe think to switching to some aftermarket seats upfront. A healthy investment but well worth it of you plan on keeping the car.
