Does anyone know how to enter the cannonball run Gumball 3000. Me and my cousin want to show those richies that their exotics arn't all that.

i think you have to pay your way in, or you could try to get a sponsor and they could pay your way in but then you'd have to put stickers all over your car, but wouldn't mind being sponsored by playboy of course ;)

You pay, if I remember correctly. Entrance fee is upwards of $10k too, I believe.

lol, right after i made the last post i checked my email and found this, dunno if it helps, and this year it will be in europe but the next one i think is in the US so might have to wait, or if it doesn't work to buy your way into it or wutever, you could buy a ticket on ebay, the past couple oif years they've done that for charity or something but i think they sell for a couple thousand, but i get a newsletter every whenever so here it is.....

There are only 42 days to go until the chequered flag drops for the sixth annual
‘Gumball 3000 Rally’, so if you want to come to
the start line and cheer off your favourite Gumballers in their amazing cars,
now is the time to start making plans. The flag will
drop in Paris on Wednesday May 5th, where 165 amazing cars, stars and eccentrics
will embark on a 6-day ‘no holds barred’
experience, driving 3000 miles of a magical mystery tour.

With entrants including everyone from the legendary Burt Reynolds himself in a
70s Pontiac Trans Am (every Gumballers
hero!), to the Jackass and Viva La Bam motley crew in whatever cars they can
rustle up, and current music god ‘Pharrell
Williams’ putting his McLaren through its paces, its safe to say that this years
Gumball will cause a stir.

If you watched Johnny Knoxville and the rest of MTV’s Jackass’ crew when they
took part from London to Russia and back,
you have been warned. And if you didn’t, I suggest you prepare yourselves, as in
2004 they are back for more, and this time
they’re serious!

Being filmed once again for the ultimate reality ‘road trip’ movie, directed by
3 of the worlds most renowned directors, you will

Gumball 3000 'The Movie' of the 2003 rally will be released on DVD in Europe and
the USA in the early Summer, however its
NOW available in the UK, so if you haven't already got a copy, what are you
waiting for!!! Its available at all good stores and of
course online via the Gumball website.

I think the Gumball is more of something for people who have the money to pay off the inevitable damage that's going to happen to their car while paying to get in.

It's just something for rich people to blow their money on... your car's performance means less and less when you're going across the united states to certain places just to have another party.

Players Run is $12k for one car and two drivers. Additional drivers are $4200 apiece. So yea, not cheap.

or get sponsored, did you see the playboy bunny minicooper, that would be awsome, but then again, get sponsored by oscar meyer weiner, then you could drive the weiner mobile

gumball is at least 8000 a person for 2 people... and i think it went up...

lollipop is about 300 dollars a person... which is higher?
player's run may be higher, but i'm pretty sure that ryan dunn told me that gumball pricing went up as well...

so gumball is the CHEAPEST, not the most expensive

Bam's got the S4, Dunn has a 600hp 318ti, an escalade on 22's (in the "don't feed phil" episode, you could see the escalade outside)... and he's got a new x5, it's getting the full AC Schnitzer makeover and 19's...

Dunn has been about cars forever, and is from around me, so i met him at work, when he was buying toys for the escalade... he and i hit it off, and hang out when he's in town...

he's hella cool

i would just try to get sponsored for it, but dont i dunno if an auto parts company wou8ld be easist, i've never seen them sponsor any car for the rally but i would go for something like an energy drink, (redbull, go fast, etc.) or something else like that, doritos, sobe might be good, maybe even sony, but just think of certain companies, walk around your house and look at products and things and try to find a company

LOL, like many, I love the idea of the Gumball, but I couldn't enter without selling my car, and then what would I do? Why not start your own road rally. Might sound kinda dumb, but I'm trying to put one together in New Mexico in late summer/fall. All you need to do is get a bunch of cars to come out and see what kind of trouble you can cause. ya actually, me and a couple friends are planning one, it wouldn't hapen this summer, but the one after if you would like to tag along, its starts in park city utah, and ends in st goarge utah, we are calling it the elbert 333, because there is a teacher we mess arounds with name mr. elbert, and we were talking in his class and thought it up, the 333, is because my friends made up this thing that 3 is the gay number,(dont ask me) and its about 300miles from park city to there, and one kid has a condo that we will sleep in, we plan on being there for weeks, if u wanna tag along you can but have to wait a little, my sn on AIM is gigglesnirt
