Just a real quick question, on average when would you replace the timing belt for a 91 prelude Si. like i said in general, i know there are factors and if you want to bring them up thats fine, but you know where i am coming from.

typicaly you always change the timing belt in a Honda after 90,000 miles.

Yeah, every 90k miles for your car. The VTEC models want to be changed every 60k miles though.

Every 72 months or 90K, you shouldn't wait for a t/belt to go bad or bye bye engine. It's also a VERY good idea to replace the water pump while it's all apart.
Waterpump alone is about 4-5hrs labor
Waterpump with t/belt is only .5hrs more + parts/coolant.
