Engine Coolant light

Ford 2000 Taurus Engine coolant light (low) comes on regardless of temp. Slightly above full. Problem started a year ago when the radiator was flushed. Help???? Temp always well within acceptable range. Someone said may be float valve in Fill tank. ????
