Twin Turbo......

I read on this forum somewhere that there's no real benefit from twin turbo on an inline engine. I'm doing a SR20DET engine swap soon in my 90 240sx and I thought twin turbo would be better. Reason I want twin Turbo is to reduce turbo lag-a small turbo for quick spool up and a larger turbo for some serious topend boost. I want Twin Turbo but if there's no benifit then is it worth it. Question is-Is there a benefit from Twin Turbo?

Thankz

Thats A Sequential Turbo System Which Is Pretty Much Worthless. The Inline Four Is Too Small To Spool Two Turbos. Your Better Off Running A Midrange Turbo On All Four Cylinders It'll Spool Fast And Produce Big Numbers.

two turbos on anything smaller than 6 cylinders is pointless.
they'd be tiny.

certain engines are set up with different types of headers/manifolds, allowing for better usage of 2 turbos, the I4 engines not being one of these.
