no spark, need help, running out of ideas

check the computer (ECU). your thread tells us almost nothing about what happened did it stop while driving did it just not start.....

search next time before posting a thread with almost no info in it.

Sorry for the lack of info, pulled into the driveway one day and that was it, hasn't started since. put a different distributor in it had the ecm relay checked, have had a capacitor replaced on the ecm board and i still need to check make sure i have all the power needed going to the ecm so i can rule out ignition switch. this all may be a waste of time because that ecm could still be bad, just not visibly so. thanks for taking the time to reply to my weak thread, any help is greatly appreciated.

explain what happens when you try to start it....

no spark, have power to the dist. but nothing past that. like i said i still have to probe the harness to confirm that i have ignition power. but other than that i'm running out of ideas
