installing door poppers

i'm going to shave my door handles and install door poppers w/ solenoids to my 96' cav. 2 dr. convert. how many pound solenoids do i need? i know that the 50lb poppers will be plenty for the door but am unsure about the solenoids themselves. will 15lbs be enough?
