actually the 6al is better from what i can remember (not 100% sure)and i think that the sport compact doesnt have an adjustable rev limiter just make sure u get a coil and a new cap to instal teh units on ur car. go to msd.com and compare tehm

If you got the 6AL for $10.00 why spend almost $250 for the SCI with rev.?
Which ever option you choose, MSD modified distrib. cap & external coil should be used, but stock cap & coil will work. Also a good time for new plugs, wires, & rotor. You can see my ignition system in gallery : MSD SCI rev, MSD High Vibration Coil, MSD Cap, MSD wires.
Make sure to disconnect the battery so you don't get zapped.
There is a round black cover on the side of the MSD box, remove it & make sure both wires are cut. Blue / red wires connected = 8 cylinder Red cut = 6 cylinder Blue / red cut = 4 cylinder
Kill switch can be hooked up if you get the violet/green wire adapter. Connect single wire to violet, run to single pole METAL switch, run single wire from 2nd terminal on switch to ground/body.

I think MSD has online manuals @ the website.
