ok me and a few of my friends have jumped on the import seen in central wisconsin. I have been dropping all sorts of cash on my crx,b16 and other mods and thought i was going to somewhat keep up with the rivals on the other side of town. and then I here that some how this one guy says he got like ten grand in aftermarket parts just by putting a sponsor sticker on his car and all he has to do is show up at 5,6 events a year. what the hells up with this, can you do this or is this guy full of crap let me know. his car isnt anything special ,just an eclispe. I figure if there was something like that why doesnt everybody know about it :feedback:

Its hard to get sponsors. You have to have money already invested into your car. and you have to be noticed in one way or another, weather that means winning race events or shows. I have friends sponsored and it takes alot of money and time to travel to diffrent events all over the USA. And alot of sponsorships are not free parts, just discounted. Depending on the terms of the agrement.

That's pretty much right on the money; however, magazine confirmations are a big factor for many, if not most, companies looking to sponsor... You can find a ton of information at http://www.carsponsors.com :)
