I have a 95 Jetta GLS 2.0 automatic, I've installed a catback exhaust system and a GIAC ECU chip, but I still want more torque and HP, but I don't want to mess with the engine to much, plus it's only a 2.0 so why spend money on worthless products. So if anyone has any ideas for bolt on ideas let me know. Thnx

Ok this maybe a little harsh but I have to say it.
You have a couple of choices to get more power.
The biggest thing you have going against you is that it's a automatic and 2. It's the 8v 2.0
1. Get the Neuspeed super charger.
2. swap tranni and engine out for a 5 spd. and VR6
3. trade the car in for a Jetta or GTI with a VR6 or 1.8T.
4. Spend about 4-6 grand on an ATP turbo for the 2.0.
There are your options.

i've got a 2000 vr6 and it's gutless too.. if you want power give up, sell it, and buy a v8 car. there is no way you are gonna get huge horsepower numbers out of a 2 liter engine. you might... but it'll only last for one day then the car will explode. I used to have a '67 nova dyno'd at 370hp and there wasn't enough rice in the city to take her (should never sold).
and besides... a front wheel drive car will never go good. the weight transfer is all wrong.
I reccommend you go to the track for one day.. and see all vehicles there that are thumping every piece or rice out there... it'll be a v8 car thats rear wheel drive.. or all wheel like subaru's. or just be happy you are getting decent milage.
luck to ya!

Smokn, your right about the V8, but with these gas prices I'll stick with the 4cyl for now. I think I'll stick with what I got and wait till next year when I plan on buying new, maybe Audi or Mercedes, V8 only of course. Newer American car's can't hang anymore, too bad, I prefer USA but for my money I have to invest for the long haul.
