my friend has a 5.0 1986 mustang and he doesnt got a bunch of cash. i heard somewhere that if he takes out the insulation in his hood that his engine will cool faster.. so is this true? or is it just bs? and what else can you take out of the car legally to still lose weight?

To lose weight you could take out the passenger seat, back seat, audio equipment, carpet, and spare tire/jack for starters.

hmm, not much i can contribute to that. air conditioning removal is legal and will gain you both horsepower and weight reduction.
