Can some of you recommend tires for my 1995 4Runner Ltd? I am looking for a solid all season tire for mostly highway and city driving. I live in Philadelphia and need to be able to get around in the snow and rain. Also any resources on where to purchase is most appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

Michelin X Terrains are excellent. Buy them most anywhere.

Goodyear Wrangler AT/S are rated for 50,000 miles, I've seen them last over 60,000. They do very good off road, if needed, and they are rated very high in wet traction and snow. I use to work for Goodyear. When I first saw the tire I immediately gave it bad reviews, after I saw what it could do I became a believer. I am thouroughly impressed. Two of my brothers have them on their trucks.

Bridgestone M773 II are very good all around, also superior in snow and wet conditions.

Ask your tire dealer about "water sipes". Typically, tires with more water sipes perform better on wet surfaces. Water sipes look like cuts or slices that are integrated into the tread design.

Shop around. Some tire shops offer free installation. Try Sam's Club, Costco, America's Tire Co., and also ask at you local mom and pop tire shop. Road Hazard Protection, which is usually extra, is good in case your tires become unrepairable.

I would recommend the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo. I have had them on my 4Runner for a few months now and the wet traction is outstanding. Great in snow also. Don't confuse with the regular Dueler A/T. Revos are much better.

Thanks everybody for your comments and suggestions. I ended up purchasing Yokohoma Geolander's from tirerack.com. These tires are ride much better than the Dunlop Grantrek and the Bridgestones I had before. I highly recommend this site as it has great reviews and research on the subject as well as very competitive pricing and super service. The tires cost me $81 each and were delivered next day- can't shake a stick at that.

Which Geolander? There are a few different Geolanders.
