Tifflusk;
Could be a number of things, but I have a feeling it's either valve timing or fuel related. Are you smelling fuel? If so, you can probably rule out a faulty fuel pump or relay. If not, it's one more thing you'll have to check. First thing you should do is pull the top cover off the timing belt, and jog the crank around to TDC so you can check the valve timing. There is a timing mark on each of your cam sprockets, which should be facing each other (3 oclock and 9 oclock postions, when the crank is at TDC. If they are facing away from each other, jog the crank around one more revolution to TDC. Take a good look at the timing belt as you're jogging the engine around too. You may discover a missing cog or two on the belt as you do so. If you do, you've found the problem. If the timing marks on the cam sprockets just won't line up when the crank is at TDC, your valve timing is off and that is your problem.

If the valve timing is ok, you just need to verify spark and fuel, and I won't go into details on how to go about that.

Good luck
